Sponsorship: Wade Marrs - Stump Jumpin' Kennel
Wade at the start of his fifth Iditarod- March, 2015
Trabits Group sponsors Iditarod musher Wade Marrs, and his Stump Jumpin' Kennel. At 25, Wade has been dog mushing for as long as he can remember. With his uncle as his biggest influence, he was able to learn about the sport of dog mushing and start training at an early age. Wade says he knew as early as age 5 that he wanted to race competitively and has been working towards winning the Iditarod with his team ever since. With his last three finishes being 32nd, 16th, and 8th in 2015, there does seem to be a pattern!
UPDATE, March 2016: Sure enough, Wade took 4th place in the 2016 Iditarod - Congratulations Stump Jumpin Kennel!
Wade and his team at Cape Nome in the 2015 Iditarod, on his way to an 8th place finish, while winning the award for fastest time from Safety to Nome.
